Liu Plastic Surgery Now Offering Ideal Implant!

Posted on September 12, 2016

We are excited to announce that our office is now offering the new, revolutionary technology of the IDEAL IMPLANT!

What is the IDEAL IMPLANT?

The IDEAL IMPLANT is a structured, saline implant designed by a plastic surgeon. It is made of safe, proven implant materials and involves a series of implant shells nested together, including two separate chambers holding the saline filler fluid. The unique design of the IDEAL IMPLANT not only creates a more natural feel compared to standard saline implant, but also reduces the risk of any folding or wrinkling of the implant which can lead to rupture or deflation.

Why choose IDEAL?

The IDEAL IMPLANT is designed to provide women and surgeons with an additional option to the current saline-filled and silicone-filled implants available today. It is a hybrid implant in that it has some of the advantages of both types of implants. One of the benefits associated with being a saline-filled implant is that there is no risk for “silent rupture.” As with a standard saline implant, if rupture does occur, the implant simply deflates and the sterile saltwater inside the structure can be harmlessly absorbed into the body. Given its more natural feel compared to current saline implants, the IDEAL IMPLANT is an excellent choice for patients who prefer saline implants.

How do I know if IDEAL is right for me?

Our office offers the newest technology of both saline and silicone implants. At a consultation appointment, Dr. Liu will evaluate you and determine which type of implant is best to meet your specific goals. If you are interested in learning if the IDEAL Implant is right for you, please contact us today to schedule a consultation appointment!
